They're here! Visconti's latest product their beautiful range of leather pen cases.

The very purest full-grain aniline leather is treated with exclusive, patented Dreamtouch procedure, imparting an extraordinary softness to the leather while maintaining all of its natural properties, including of course any small blemishes it may proudly sport.

We've had a good look at them, and they're some of the best quality pen cases we've come across, supple leather, and very light weight, even the larger sizes.

Omas 360 Range

Introducing to those of you that aren't familiar with it, the Omas 360 Range!

But why is it called the 360 you ask? Well because its triangular, both the body and the section, with a slightly round edge. Some would say this is pretty radical, but as you may know its something that Lamy have been doing for years. And although you may not think it, even a pen of this variety is extremely comfortable to hold despite its odd shape, partly due to the fact that its a very light pen.

The new 360 design which has be in production since 2011, comes in two colours, Blue or Brown resin.

You may have also spotted on our website that there is also a 360 Limited Edition, which is verging on a demonstrator, in transparent turquoise.  Or to give it its full name the Omas 360 Vintage Turquoise LE.

So how does it write?

As with all Omas nibs, they are extremely smooth, give a beautiful line, with a good degree of softness. Regarding the LE version, along with beautiful detailing on the nib, is of the 18 carat variety, and as you'd expect is soft with a good amount of movement when writing with it. And if you want to get your hands on one, we've heard from Omas that there are only 30 to 40 left, so get one if you can, whilst you have the chance!

Conway Stewart Marlborough Resin

If news of the latest Conway Stewart hasn't reached you yet, then let me fill you in...
Conway Stewart MarlboroughThe Marlborough regular edition is crafted from the highest quality hand made resins exclusively made for Conway Stewart. Each piece is carefully examined for colour, pattern, and consistency. Once personally selected by our craftsman in Devon, the resin material is turned into pen parts, hand assembled, hand polished, and carefully hand fitted to ensure that every Marlborough writing instrument is kept to our highest standards of quality.

The barrel is accented with wide solid precious metal bands, while the bandless cap is set off with an engraved design at the top, reminiscent of some of the very early pen designs from Conway Stewart.

We have adopted a new and improved inner mechanism for the lever fill versions that allows for an easier and more complete filling of the ink sac, the lever itself is richly plated to match the trim of the Marlborough and adorned with the CS logo.
Conway Stewart Marlborough Classic Green is one of our most popular colours. Classic Green brings a graceful blend of light and dark green. The subtle play of light from the pearlescent light green hints at the depths of this material. The deeper shades of the dark green marbling further accent the magnificent blend of colour.

Graphite is the perfect choice for lovers of our signature pearlescent hand-made resin material. While it might seem a basic silver trim and dark slate gray finish pen at first glance, our Graphite is at closer look a stunning mixture of light and dark marbled grays. A background of charcoal shades is lightened with shimmering white smoke pearlescent highlights. It is both simple, and complex, classic while offering an always-changing array of shades that dance as the light catches the pen in motion.

The Meteor is a mixture of reds, from a bright fire engine shade, through to shimmering highlights of luxurious pink that glow with reflected light. Interspersed with the panoply of red shades are patches of pure black, perfectly anchoring this brash mixture of colour.

Razorshell is vivid, iridescent, and unrestrained. It is a stunning mixture of translucent russet, pearl cream, and jet black, which combine to create a material that sets your writing instrument above others while not being flashy or out of place in the most conservative of environments.

Sapphire Blue is glowing, electric, vibrant and more! It is a combination of shimmering blues and opalescence, drawing inspiration from a summer sky blue serving as a base for the pearl highlights that flare to life at the slightest movement of the pen under light.

Our new Aurora Ink

As you may have seen recently, we've just started stocking Aurora Ink and also Rhodia Notebooks, so we'd thought we would take this opportunity to test them both out! Here are the results!

Rhodia Paper standing up pretty well to the Aurora Ink, no visible bleed through on the reverse of the paper.

One of the nicest bottles for ink we've come across!

A few writing tests so you can get a feel for the Black and Blue tones.
